The Heart Center has installed the most sophisticated cardiac imaging system in the world at the Huntsville location. A Siemens multipoint 64-Slice CT Scanner, the "Super Scanner" has been on-line since March, 2005 and provides non-invasive 3D images of the heart and blood vessels captured in just seconds "This new Super Scanner is the single most important breakthrough in my 20 years of cardiology."  The Heart Center, one of the nation's leading private cardiology practices, has opened a national training site for cardiologists, physicians, technologists and other health care professionals. The program is designed to provide physicians with ACC Level 2 knowledge of Cardiac CT interpretation and is done in collaboration with TeraRecon, Inc. and Siemens Medical.
